DIY Floral Headbands // OOTD

Hello all! It's been a while. Anyway, nowadays there's a bunch of raves going on and they're becoming super popular. Outfits are usually booty shorts, colorful bras, and FLORAL HEADBANDS! So basically, I'm just gonna give you guys some instructions to make your own headbands. But these raves aren't the reason I'm doing this post, it was just kinda relevant haha. I remember once I wanted to buy a floral headband and when I saw the price to it was like "UH, NO" (in my head though). So with what you can buy with one headband, you can make way more than one. I spent about $8 on the products, which you can buy at any art store, and I still have a bunch to make. So enough of me rambling in the intros, as usual, and let me get started.

The products you need are: floral wires, green floral tape, a hot glue gun, and of course, the flowers of your choice; make sure they're the ones you can pop off and plop back on (they have a little stem underneath).

  1. To begin, with the floral wire, you just measure the circumference of your head. If the come in strands, you might need to wires, depending on how big it is. If this does happen, you don't need to cut the wire just let it over lap.
  2. Once you have the measurements, with the floral tape, you wrap it around so there's more comfort on your head. Also, like I mentioned earlier, if you do need to wires, just tape the overlapped ends together. Just a side note: with the floral tape, it might not stick instantly so you have to wrap it on itself more than once so it stays put.
  3. By this time, you should have your headband finished. Therefore, use the hot glue gun to glue the flowers onto your headband. And ta-da! You should have your headbands finished after that.
Personally, I like making my own headbands better cause then you get to design it yourself AND the elastic doesn't squish your head!

Here's one of mine!

And to quickly add onto this, I'm gonna do my Outfit of the Day (just because I loved my dress).

I got this dress at TJMaxx for only $16! What really caught my eye was the deep-V back, which I'm loving, and the slit on the dress. I think a high bun with some loose strands of hair would be super cute with this dress to show off the back (I didn't do that cause I oddly felt like doing my hair haha) And I wore brown strap sandals with it.

So yeah, I hope you guys do the floral headband and tag me if you do! You can find my social medias in the links above. Until next time!
